My Instruments:
I mostly play guitar, but always interested in any instruments. I have a sweet little 58 Martin tenor guitar, sigma 6 string, Alvarez 6 string, Yamaha 12 string, gherson tenor banjo and just found an 1880s Lyon & Healy 5 string banjo i m looking for any info on.

As far as banjo related...Doc watson,Ola belle Reed, Wilmer watts lonely eagles, skillet lickers, Charlie Poole, doc boggs, clarence ashley, Carter family, tony rice, woody guthrie, leadbelly, gillian welch, willie watson, sturgill simpson,Ricky skaggs, flatt n scruggs, dan tymnski, bill monroe.....the list is endless, always on the hunt for old time and mountain tunes and Obsessed w learning roots of songs. Smithsonian field recordings and some of their comps have a ton of treasures!
