Started playing fiddle when I was eight, old time and bluegrass. Played cello and violin in orchestra in junior high and then put them away through high school. Picked up the fiddle again in my mid twenties, and started taking lessons to learn Scottish fiddle-and fell in love with it. Have been a fan of clawhammer banjo for many years, and have finally decided to give it a go.
