Got my first steel guitar (Fender) in 1955. Changed to regular guitar in 1960, took up banjo in 1974, have always loved all stringed instruments. Worked in broadcasting in mid 70's. Got to know Doc Watson at that time. Remained friends until he passed. Play five or six hours a day sine I retired. Think Jake Stogdill is fabulous musician!
