Late starter to banjo but have thought about it for years. At least I have now started and am taking lessons in overhand playing (my wife is very tolerant and understanding). I also have learnt some basic bluegrass but think I prefer old time American music. I am a long standing British traditional folk music listener but also appreciate classic rock music such as Cream, Led Zeppelin and the Strawbs. If nothing else I am eclectic with regards to my music.
