Hello everyone. I have recently started recording some of the tunes i pick on my tenor and 5 string banjos, using a cheap microphone I bought off Ebay and that most complex (but powerful) program Audacity. I'm a bit of a newbie to recoding (and banjo playing for that matter) but one must get experience somewhere. I'm picking a Deering Goodtime 2 5 string banjo in the frailing and 3 finger bluegrass styles and a Countryman 500TB in the Irish tenor banjo tuning for, err, Irish tenor banjo tunes. I uploaded a few tunes , 1 on the 5 string (Whiskey in the Jar) and two on the tenor (Harvest Home and Tenpenny Bit). I'm Hoping to upload another Irish tune soon, the Galway Hornpipe. Signin' off.
