I have been playing ( trying to play) the banjo for about nine years now. I always had the music going through my head since I was a child. One year, my wife surprised me at Christmas with a banjo! I have practiced it just about everyday since then. I enjoy jamming with my friends weekly and playing in the Flat Mountain String Band. We are fortunate to have opportunities to play at many different events. I never imagined that I would be playing in front of anybody. I enjoy sharing this music where ever I can.
