I've always been a bluegrass fan. I started playing around '99. I became interested in clawhammer when I first heard Larry Sigmon and Barbara Poole at Slagles Pasture in '98. I started out with a video from Murphy Henry with Lynn Morris teaching. This was a good start, but still wasnt the sound I was looking for. I have been fortunate to find so many old time pickers to jam with and learn from. I was able to set down with Larry Sigmon and spend about three hours watching a master at his home.(that was awesome) I've since been learning both three finger Scrugs style as well as clawhammering.
