so, all my friends play something...guitar, harmonica, tambourine... so i figured i'd get me a banjo cuz i love the way they sound and it looked like fun. i've only had him (his name is herb--is it weird i named my banjo?), anyway, i've only had him two weeks to the day today (3-19-07) and it is really fun to play. i'm only trying to teach myself going by the book that came in the starter kit, so we'll see how it goes. i keep telling myself that one day i'll get it. i'd just like to be able to play along in the backyard with all my other friends. :)
