Spent 30 years in Nashville writing songs. Had 3 #1 songs. "She don't know she's beautiful", "Why didn't I think of that", and "What she is, is a woman in love". Studied banjo with Johnny Whisnant for about 2 years in my early 20's. Didn't know he was such a hotshot until a few months ago. He would spend hours with me showing me as much as I could absorb. Use to sit in with Benny and Vallie Cain when Johnny played with them. What a fun time for me! Most fun I ever had in music was playing the banjo, so I thought I'd get back to playing. Keeping my fingers crossed. Wrote songs in Nashville with Randy Scruggs and Josh Graves' son Billy Troy. Sons of heroes of mine. Looking for help with my new adventure in relearning the banjo.
