Kenny and the Pingos is a loose collection of Arctic researchers stationed at Toolik Field Station on the North Slope of Alaska's Brooks Mountain Range. Originally started by Ken Fortino and Cody Johnson as a way to keep alchohol abuse at bay, the band currently consists of anyone who shows up with an instrument (voice included), and a desire to make music in one of the most remote locations in the world
