My first Banjo is a Mastercraft Bluegrass Mahogany Banjo. I purchased it from www.banjohut.com for a mere $279 it had alot of features found only on more expensive models. So after reading the reivews found on this web site I bought it. With a lifetime warrenty it should be a sound instrument to learn on. A local store had a beginner banjo made out of plastic......not even firewood.....

I play Bass and Guitar for about 20 years and am looking to learn how to play the banjo. I love southern rock,blues and classic rock and that has been my greatest source of influence as a muscian. Lately I guess you can call it a strong pull or a calling to Bluegrass has made me turn my attenttion to learning how to play.
