I got the banjo bug at age 15 when I found an old Kay in Grandpa's closet. I played in jam bands until college. I attended Trevecca Naz College in Nashville and made lots of music friends hanging out at the Station Inn. I played in a few gospel/bluegrass regional bands and had a blast. Moved back to Ohio, got married, started a career and left music behind for the most part. Now, 20 years later, I've been obsessing again and am getting back into it. I've become a real Old Time banjo nut lately. I bought an Orpheum tenor on ebay and have just finished building my own Dobson style neck (see photo).
