Bluegrass hasn't always been my favorite music. My background is southern gospel music. I have played southern gospel nearly all my life. But, after hearing some 3rd Time Out music while I was in college I fell in love with bluegrass music and the banjo in general. I spent most of my free time learning the banjo and have been hooked ever since. I currently play with my best friend in a band called Paint Creek.
