I got interested in banjo music at the age of 3, roughly. The first banjo music I hear was that of Dock Boggs, Josh Thomas, Raymond Fairchild, and Troy Brammer. I actually began playing at age 5, 19 years ago. I love the various traditional styles of banjo playing. I don't go for ANY of this new mess. If it's pre-1955, I probably like it, if it's 55-65, I might like it, if it's 65-75 not likely that I like it, but possible; 1975-today = nothing worth listening to. My biggest banjo influences are Don Reno and Troy Brammer.
