Blues and Jazz have been a huge part of my life. I begin playing guitar at the age of 12 and took more than 4 years of lessons from various guitarists. I tend to excel in in improving and chord reading. My bro has been playing fiddle for a few years and I thought it would be fun to learn a new instrument. After finishing my graduate degree I promised myself I'd try banjo. I picked up a Deering open back and started taking lessons from a local picker. Lessons are great and the instructor doesn't let me cut corners. I started playing in late 2007 and haven't stopped since. In 08' I pick up a Gibson Reso, there's no looking back now. Ultimately, just want to jam with my bro and other pickers if the situation presents itself. SPE Jeremy
