Washburn B-14 bluegrass banjo converted into a frailing banjo by removing the resonator and flange, installing a no knot tailpiece, a snuffy smith head and snuffy smith bridge.

55 year old Lutheran Pastor. Wife, 5 kids (4 grown, 1 almost), one grand daughter (5 mos.) who loves my banjo playing (especially Bile them cabbage down!). Bought a cheap banjo back in the mid 80's and have toyed off and on with bluegrass style, but lack of a band to play with hampered development. Stumbled across Clawhammer/Frailing on YouTube and started to learn it. Converted my banjo to an openback and have been smaking away at a good clip now since mid summer.
