I started playing guitar at age 10, banjo at 17, and am now 53. I Play classic style, bluegrass, and other types of music finger style on banjo. I've played professionally and for my own sanity since the early 70's. I sing, play guitar, banjo and dobro, and support all this with performing and recording music, and doing architecture and interior design, as well as authoring books, and doing photography. I lived in Boston for 25 years, and am currently in Charlottesville, VA.
