A native Texan who moved to New England in ྞ and loves it. Diverse musical background beginning on guitar in the 60's in the golden age of rock; Lived in Austin, Tx, during the birth of the progressive country movement and the return of Western Swing. Took up mandolin in the 90's as a "gateway" to learning fiddle tunes, and dabbled in all-things Celtic. Discovered Old Time Music this past decade, took up fiddle around 2005 and banjo in 2008. I find Banjo very meditative and trance-like - thus my label BHO name Zen Banjo.
