Hello, I have been playing in a variety of different bands for quite sometime now. In addition to performing locally, I have also toured through Colorado, the east coast, and the surrounding Rocky Mountain states. Recently, I have been slowing down with performing and have been giving private lessons on the guitar and banjo. Lessons are $30 an hour--unless you travel from outside of Boulder to get here--and take place either at my house or online with through Ichat or Skype. Below are brief descriptions for lessons: Banjo Lessons: The concepts of Scruggs, Melodic, and Single String Style. Using these different styles as a foundation for bluegrass, rock ‘n’ roll, and many other genres. Also incorporates the different chord structures, playing inside the different chord shapes, and different ways to finding them on your own. Students: Beginner/Intermediate Guitar Lessons: Getting started or furthering your knowledge of scales and tunes: Chord Structures, Scales, and Basic concepts. Students: Beginner I also focus on the different aspects of music theory, ear training, and finding your own voice on an instrument. I strive to introduce my students different genres of music, as well as, having fun while learning. I give lessons to students of all ages and strongly believe that anyone, with a little patience and practice, can learn an instrument. After our lesson, I prepare tabs and audio recordings. Check out my website for a mini-itroductory banjo lesson : http://web.me.com/fasteddy77/fasteddymusic/Intro.html (Click the online lessons tab) I look forward to hearing from you. Happy Holidays, Keith
