About four years ago I hold a banjo for the first time in my life. I just loved the instrument, an had to start play. I've played fiddle for many years to, but don't like it as much as the banjo. I play blugrass with a teacher called Tord Hjukström. He is a man who live for the music, and spend all his free time (and more) teaching young people. I'm one of his lucky students! My relation to the blugrass is good, but I'm youg and and not very experieced. I learn every day and became more involved into the music. Today i play in a band called "Spiderbridge", with three other teen age girls and one guy. We don't play the ordinary bluegrass, but it's very close. The band meet once a week to play and learn new songs with Tord. He think it could be something bigger some day. Honestly, I play mostly for fun. I guess most people who have chosen this genre of music agree, because of the special atmosphere, and the possibility to jam with anyone you meet.
