Picked up a nice little Vega Fairbanks style N over 40 years ago. Always loved the sound ,but never had the confidence nor the dicipline to do much with it. I decided a few months ago to really give it a try ,and for some reason I can understand it much more than I ever had. Big fan of Dixie Land ,Rag time and Swing .When I was a kid my parents used to take me to see some local groups ,and I fell in love with the Banjo playing of Smokey Carey.....
