Some of you were interested in see my banjo so I put up a couple of pics... tried to put them on the blog post but couldn't figure out how to do it. It is a sweet lil' thing. Has an 11" Dobson pot (spunover) and goat skin head, I had Nate Calkins build me a new walnut neck on it because the old neck was just way too warped. He put a nice frailin' scoop on it and I had him add a Sampson walnut with ebony capped bridge and it really gave it good tone. It's strung with "Nylgut" strings and sounds and feels wonderful.

I am a preacher, instrumentalist, and ballad and hymn singer. God has blessed me with a wonderful loving wife and two sweet but hooligan boys. As far as music I'm very interested in mountain style banjo. I love to hear mountain banjo and fiddle duets, solo clawhammer banjo, lonesome fiddle tunes, and mountain ballads. Thanks for comin by... next time bring your lantern and we'll grab my hounds and go 'Possum huntin ~Chad
