I have aguired and old tenor banjo with KNABE on the headstock. From what i understand they only made pianos? This banjo has ( GERMANY USSR OCCUPIED) stamped into the wood at the bottom of the neck. After reserching the Knabe family, and finding out the first ones which came to the USA started a music store in Kansas City Missouri,it made more sense of the banjo being in a Quigley Music Case, located in Kansas city Missouri. I have been through several kidney surgies, and was wondering if any of the banjo pickin' family could possibly be interested in this item.
