started out playing heavy metal, but allways had a secret interest in bluegrass. a friend of mine found out and admitted to growing up in a bluegrass family. he played stand up bass,mom plays guitar, and dad plays fiddle. he asked if i played grass to which i said no, but allways wanted to play banjo because everyone else thought it to be impossible to learn. a few days later his uncle (banjo and mandolin) sold me an old banjo for $100. i think its a kit from the 70's or 80's. never the less ive been driving my wife crazy ever since! thanx ben!
