The "Briggs Special" Banjo

I know there has been some discussion around this forum on the banjo that I posted on ebay--just to clarify--it was clearly stamped  "The Bacon Banjo Company" Groton.  I know one other poster suggested that something might have ben added to this Banjo--I disagree--I have been restoring very old stringed instruments for over 40 years--I would bet that this is completely original with no additions.  The headstock is certainly original as is the armrest.  While I am no Banjo expert (I mess around with and study guitars), I have built and restored enough of them to make a pretty good judgement on originality.  Just FYI
