I was born in Canada but immigrated to the UK around 30 years ago. I'm married with 3 grown up children, and I'm a parish priest in the Church of England. I took up the banjo when my son left an old banjo at home while he travelled around the world. I looked for a teacher and the only one I could find was one who taught clawhammer style - I fell in love with that style of playing.
