Retired computer geek who was looking for something fun and low tech! I started out with the Goodtime open back because I liked the price, sound, and quality. I've stuck with Deering and in 2005 I bought a used Sierra in perfect condition. I like to take the banjo along to astronomical star parties and the like so I can play under the stars.
