I first heard a live banjo performance in third grade: a solo. I loved the sound and I have wanted to make that sound ever since. It took until I was 48 to get up the courage to buy a banjo and take some lessons. I am not very good yet. I seem to have no memory for the tabs so I am stuck with reading as I play. I am working on two songs and hope that if I go to a jam session I will pick up an ear for the music. Great Hopes. Minimal Talent.
