What is the correct bridge height for a Montana Silverbell?

The bridge on it now is stamped BACON,  I assume original, the strings have eaten into the ebony about 1/8th of an inch.. I'd like to get a 1/2 inch farquahar bridge in there ,but will have to change neck angle a little.  Any suggestions?
