I have a 1958 gibson rb-100 that my father bought brand new. He passed it down to me and I've had it since. About 8yrs ago I had a house fire and the only thing I could salvage was the banjo. Unfortunately the neck burned pretty bad as did the case. I am starting to restore it now but figured while I have it apart now would be the time for any upgrades. Probably just the tone ring. Any thoughts? Also looking for a new neck. Any sellers, not sure if it needs to be RB-100, is there a need to upgrade the neck? Any help would surely be appreciated.
