Born and raised in Indianapolis. At the age of 12 Tom Holt from the "Boys From Indiana" Pro Group in the 70's taught me how to chop the mandolin. Ever since I heard " Home Sweet Home and Foggy Mountain Breakdown I was HOOKED!! The Banjo is my main concern even tho the mandolin is my strongest instrument I just dont find it as challenging or fun as the Banjo. My style on the banjo would be Scruggs mixed with a little Sammy.
