Not much to tell, musically. Over my adult years, I came to regard my UTTER lack of musical skills to be a sort of character flaw. Doug Dillard's sound and picking style lit a fire in me when I heard The Dillards "There is a Time" CD. In September of 2012 I decided to fix that character flaw (I'll try to take care of the others later) and I ordered a banjo online which arrived in October. I've been playing just about everyday since, trying to get good enough to pick in a hillbilly string band some day.
