Played on my new/very old Buckbee banjo, restored by Mark Ralston. Just getting used to it and loving it. The tune kinda came to me and I thought I would share it with you.

A simple tune I wrote, and played by a beginner...me. Played on my Eric Prust 13 inch banjo. My very first attempt to record.

Played on my Gold Tone WL 250. Just finding my way, but enjoying it.

This old classic is played on my 12 inch gourd banjo. To me it sounds like how something might have been played when it was written.

This old Mountain tune is played on the 13 inch Prust Minstrel tack head banjo. It is tuned down to open "C" with the 5th string raised to a "G." The Nylgut Classic Minstrel strings are at their best in this low range. The song is too slow, but so am I at this age! Sorry about the mistakes. Enjoy

My own composition on the Prust 13 inch Minstrel. The banjo is tuned to low "C" and I am sort of fingerpicking the tune.

Again, just noodling out a little tune I've been playing a little on the Buckbee, rebuilt by Mark Ralston...over 100 years old...not me or Mark, but the banjo. Great instrument to play around with. Sorry about all the mistakes.
