Tibetan Tiger close front

Posted 9/2/2017 4:47:15 PM

Tibetan Tiger harpobanjitar (say that 20 times fast!) close up of string sections, bridges and tailpiece/armrest structure. The horizontal, black piece under the bridges is a plate of spruce, stained black. This is there to help the skin deal with the tension of 22-strings, and help minimize climatic variations in string action. I've since replaced this piece with a longer, thicker one. This thing sounds great!! Built for a client involved in Tibetan Buddhism who frequents a monastery called The Lair of the Tiger.
