I would bet this is a really great banjo, Bo. Pre-war pot, Blaylock ring, nice maple neck...all the right ingredients of a great instrument...Of course, I like the bracket/shoe construction with the diamond flange as well!

Thanks for your kindness responding to my post. Mr. Blaylock felt that keeping the old bracket & shoe construction was the best for this banjo pot. It looks neat and it will also separate from all those Mastertones and Masterclones at next summers BG-festivals. :-) Bluegrassfully, Bo
