Ahh I just realized its the Crow model...I like the crow design...basically the same banjo but with the crow design in the peghead right?

Yes that is correct, I purchased mine though the Base Exchange (I am retired AF) they had a good price.

I think I might pick up the 5 tar tuner also...they look nice. Are you really happy with your Goodtime purchase, how does it sound? Also what string gauges are you using on it?

Well as you can see I went to a no-knot tailpiece and I use light strings. I like the sound. I am still torn between 3 finger picking and clawhammer so I still mess around with both and I haven't got very far with either. The Goodtime is a very durable banjo and should last you a long time.

Yeah I have been eyeing getting one from Amazon...they are on sale for U$S 439 only 11 left...I am also looking at one or two others...but the Goodtime just speaks to me...I always come back to it :)

Its the "Crow" package like yours...it includes the gig bag and strap, tuner etc...I am going to "zepiffi" mine as well...I want to put a fiberksyn on it and alos later on down the line I think I will order either the Waverlies or the 5 star planets for it.
