I did it mainly for looks but they do whole tune well. They are the cheap $15 each tuners...

I believe that they are "Five-Star" brand. $60 - $70 for the four.

i was looking at those today.....made by stew mac right? Did yu have to make the holes wider or do any modification to install them?

The holes in my Goodtime where already at 3/8 inch so they fit right in.

I love the "Crow" peghead...I see that Amazon is offering the Crow package for about $430...that a real bargain Might have to move on it...I will be purchasing sometime next week my first banjo.

The only advantage of the "Crow" package is that you get the CD and the song book with Tabs. I will admit that the peghead does look good.

Well its off to the airport to catch a planbe to the good ole USA...itll be nice to soak up some son for three weeks....and of course my goodtime crow is expected to arrive at mamas house sometime between tomorrow and the 18th...when I get it I will post some photos
