Hah! Trucks are a piece of cake compared to that other contraption you mentioned! :-)

You betcha, All. Of course it could also be coming in some of the rock you have blasted, but getting it is a little harder! If you didn't process that much dirt or rock, that's a lot of gold.
One of the guys here bought a 25lb bag delivered fer $134.00..
As it stands now...we got apx $500.00..worth at today's prices fer gold..n the bag still has1/2 to 1/3..of the bag to go...
Mike bought the bag 2 years ago..
Just kinda a fun pass time here..
Matt Baker mining & metals on youtube...if you wanna look it up..
I have two crawler track pads I've been wanting to make into a crusher. I'll probably still have to have a ball mill. Once you go down the Hard Rock path it might get out of hand.
It's so easy to get buckets of gravel from here and there. If one pans out get some more. I can talk myself out of hard rock prospecting pretty easily.

Hard rock mining is pretty tough. You would really have to find a quartz vein with a lot of gold in it to get much gold in a small scale operation. At $5000 an ounce, any kind of gold recovery is much more appealing than just a couple of years ago when it was around $1500. Whe I was a boy, my mother took my brother and me to Dahlonega, Ga. (in the mountains) and we panned for gold in the streams and found some very tiny pieces. But we really didn't know where to get the dirt from, as we we getting it on the sides of creeks. You kind of have to think of a creek as a gold sluice and figure where the gold would naturally settle. Gold is just about everywhere.
