I used to listen to Electric City BG on the internet but it appears they have gone to all Christian broadcasting, PTL. Is there an internet radio station where I can listen to new bluegrass music? I do listen to "Into the Blue" on WSM Sunday evenings.

If you talk to the people at Sirius, you can get a discounted price that you probably can afford. I pay $5 a month on a 6 month agreement and can renew it whenever I need to.

Yep, I think if you pay a year up front you get the same deal for the year. That's what I do. It is on my calendar so that I get a reminder to call them and threaten to cancel the subscription. I also have the Sirius app and Bluetooth it to the speakers in the bar in my basement.

If you're on a Windows PC, try finding Apple's "iTunes for Windows" app. (I'm on a Mac)

If you're on a Mac, even though iTunes has been replaced for several years by the new "Music.app", iTunes can still be modified to run on Apple Silicon based Macs.

Reason why I'm suggesting iTunes:
The built-in internet streaming radio tuner.
It's free, and there are a number of bluegrass-oriented channels on it.

Another Mc app that is free for pulling in streaming radio is "Radiola".

In times past, I used to scrounge up a lot of music from "previously unknown to me" groups and individuals by grabbing files posted to the binary "alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.bluegrass" newsgroup on usenet. Actually, there are numerous other groups (replace the "bluegrass" with "folk", etc.) with LOTS of stuff on them -- or at least there used to be years ago when the newsgroups were more popular (and free).

Today usenet has become a "pay-for" service (at least for binaries), and not many folks use it or even post there any more. But it's "still there".

TIP:
There are a few usenet providers (such as "newsdemon") from which you can buy a "prepaid block" of downloads -- say, 50gb of downloads for about $6. It's like a parking meter -- use it up, and then pay for more if you need it.

I went to SPECTRUM last winter and absolutely love the music selections on YouTube.
I start with Billy Strings or maybe Tony Rice and just let it have its head for hours at a time sometimes playing along as the mood or time allow.

Sail the high seas. When you find something you like, buy it from the artist directly if you can.
