I, like most people have many challenges in my life. But here lately, it seems like they are coming in numbers that are over welming me. I have lost one of my best Supervisors at work due to a transfer to another plant and this sorta started my stress level to increase. My father in law is undergoing some serious heart surgery on Monday, my niece is slowly recovering from and overdose and I am very worried about my brother due to this tragedy and my long time neighbor has only days to live.
With all of this going on I have found that my love for the banjo is not as apparent to me and that is scary. I have little or no interest in playing and feel like I have forgot more than I have learned after 2 years of attempting to play banjo. I am sure that down the road things willl be different, but right now it is tough to get excited about anything and my banjo practice and progress is in a huge slump.
Stay strong friend's and enjoy life, because we just don't know what out next challenge might be.

47 year old man heading to the other side of the hill. Have wanted to learn the Banjo for 15 years and family bought me one for Christmas. I have been married for 28 year and have two wonderful children, a grandson and a granddaughter. I do not intend to let them down as I learn how to play and when I leave this world, they can keep the banjo's to remember grandpa.
