Born in Detroit 1954. Grew up in Redford Township MI. Started guitar age 8, steel at age 15. Dobro, banjo and mandolin followed. Decided to concentrate on banjo due to a lack of time and talent. Still searching for those elusive sounds and techniques. Re-entered the world of pedal steel guitar in Feb 2010 after 29 years. When I "go" I hope to be listening to Flint Hill Special and picking my banjo.
