Greetings fellow banjo enthusiast!
As I contemplate the wild ride of 2024, I am grateful for the amazing bluegrass and old time community in Minnesota. I am lucky to have the opportunity to serve a second term on the board of directors with Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association. We had our annual meeting last night, and we have many new and exciting bands and programs in 2025. Join us for WinterFest Friday February 28th to March 2nd, you won't be disappointed.
I look forward to 2025 (even with the current environment in the world), grateful to be in Minnesota, the greatest state from my experience.
Peace and Joy,
Rusty

I started playing three finger style in 1979as a teenager, self-taught, then college happened, eventually got back to banjo in fall of 2006. Now fast forward to 2022, I finally got around to learning clawhammer, what a joy, this style makes me smile just thinking about it. I play acoustic guitar, finger style, I love to play and sing good old tunes whether old time, folk, Scottish and Irish. Thanks for reading my bio, look forward to meeting you in person at a festival, or a local jam.
