Janna inspired me to try and play "Jingle Bells"....it's the first time I've attempted the tune and I found it to be very challenging; but, I think I came up with a pretty good "rendition" of it....anyway, I'm posting this for Janna whose Yolochka is just a fantastic performance. Robert

James Rogers, one of my mentors down in Florida. James was a member of the Sunny Bluegrass Band and State of Florida Champion Banjo player. To me, he is one of the best banjo players in the country. He inspired me to learn how to play the banjo; and I would sit a many a time at a festival in the back lot listening to him and his friends pick thru the nite...Robert

I love Pretty Polly sung by Ralph Stanley and Patty Loveless; and Ralph's banjo player plays his break soooo good!!! I once had the opportunity to sit in a back lot at a Florida Bluegrass Festival and listen to my friend James Rogers and Chubby Anthony pick their banjos; James and Chubby played Pretty Polly perfectly; Chubby was just about as good a banjo player as he was with the fiddle. I'm just starting to learn this tune....Robert
