Well, the orthopedist says I am doing well. Full set of xrays today, which show the radial head is still not healed, but nothing else to worry about. He says I need to be patient, keep moving, and give it time. Sigh. The bad news is that he does not think I will regain full range-of-motion in my arm, but I told him I would take that as a possibility, not a probability, and keep on working.
Got a good hour of playing in tonight and had a good time. I think that's what it's all about, just like the hokey pokey. (sorry, couldn't resist.) I need to start work on the Trischka book, I think. I seem to progress fastest when I have a small body of pieces to learn that complement each other. I am in need of metronome work, too--I noticed tonight that I am in that bad habit of pausing a bit long between phrases. I can clean that right up, no worries.
